First i looked at some magazines to have an idea of what my final outcome would be and to find out the codes and conventions of a magazine front cover.






As you can see by this magazine called bliss which is aimed towards teenage girls, the main codes and conventions of the front cover are;

• A masthead which is colourful to attract the reader
• It has antoher main title about something which is feutured in the magazine, they have used purple and the title "happy new you" to attract the audience which would be teenage girls.
• It also has other storylines which are featured in the magazine using eye catching shapes and colours to draw the readers attention.
• it has a barcode with the price on
• It has a main image which takes up the whole page.
